Seriously....It's very hard to find a yoga mat that's comfy and supports your back at the same time. You want a yoga mat that is thick enough to cushion the spine and knees, but also thin enough to be easily rolled up, carried and stored. It also has to have a non-slip surface and a non-slip stable bottom for worry free transitions and holding of poses. In addition, a good yoga mat can be easily cleaned between uses and is made of materials that do not harm the user or the environment. The Kulae’s new Elite Hot Hybrid yoga mat met all my perfect yoga mat expectations.
The
eco-friendly Elite Hot Hybrid yoga
mat is like a towel and mat combined. The bottom layer is an eco-friendly PER,
while the top layer is a bamboo/microfiber blend. The mat is free of the 6 most
harmful phthalates. It is also machine-washable and easy to roll up and carry.
I
really like the texture of the mat. Not only does it have good traction/grip,
but the top layer also has a soft texture…like a towel, making it very
comfortable to use and lie on. I noticed too, the mat is longer than most mats
I’ve used in the past. I’ve
always thought that most yoga mats are too short and too narrow for dedicated
use. Longer mats allow an easier transitions from stretch to stretch without
having to worry about any part of my body touching any of the dirty floors my
mat does not cover. Overall a very well made product and I sincerely recommend this yoga mat for serious Yogi's I was sent one Kulae Elite Hot Hybrid Yoga Mat to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
I think I'll have to check them out! I love that its thick and yet you can still get it rolled up all nice and neat
