This giveaway is sponsored by Daniel Harvell

Daniel started his debut novel almost 10 years ago. Sometimes a story is just too big and too important to rush and this was the case with The Survivors. Daniel put the book aside and went about becoming a better author, honing his art so that his newly sharpened skills would help him finish his novel in a way that would do the story justice.

We are very honored to introduce you to his novel.

About the author.

Like most good writers, Daniel was an avid reader as a child. Daniel tried his hand at writing at a very young age and found that he loved the freedom and the power of being a storyteller. In 4th grade, he entertained his friends with a murder mystery involving poisonous hamburgers on the moon. He would keep his classmates well-entertained for years after with short stories, mostly murder mysteries that sometimes included them. Over time Daniel found himself moving from whodunits to soap operatic form and even to the superhero fiction genre. Most artists experiment with different genres until they find their true calling. About The Survivors - Daniel Harvell's Debut Novel

When seven travelers survive a horrifying plane crash, they find themselves affected in remarkable ways. The survivors are endowed with abilities which defy rationale, however are these strengths an advantage or perhaps a bane? They went their separate ways, and they adjust their spectacular “gifts” to their ordinary lifestyles. The outcomes however aren’t always pretty, especially when one of them engages in a murderous rampage. With little more to go on other than the psychic link that they all have, the survivors search out each other to attempt to uncover the killer and bring him or her to justice. The fireman, the grandma, the psychiatric patient, the basketball player, the mute female, the wealthy blonde, and the man in the wheelchair–they all have secrets worth concealing. The survivors can not trust one another. They can’t even trust themselves.

  10. contemporary fantasy has a fantastical narrative and takes place in modern times in a supposed real world setting. The genre may borrow elements from horror, romance, mystery, fantasy, science fiction and many others. A contemporary fantasy book may delve into the emergence of supernatural creatures, the development of mutated humans, the arrival of aliens, the training of a boy wizard at a magical school and many other supernatural situations.

  15. Every person, as a child, have had their imaginations to take them places they enjoy being in, with creatures & even funny shaped humans who they can "make" them do as they wish. All children would love to be the power controller of their own lives, so this is how fantasies come to play.
As we get older, the creatures change, humans got older & other animal-humans arrive in the mind & then all the places we take our minds too, can be anywhere in the world. That's why we have these different fantasies that starts in our childhoods & they are remarkable & we can go there anytime we want & form any life-being we want & it's a world we can escape to when the real world is too much!! I thing that the fantasy stories make us feel that anything is possible & we can make it anything we want in any place we choose to make-believe in! I could go on & on about this but, this is where I think it comes from & as we mature to adults, all the fantasies are trimmed, primed & bolder with fantastic creatures & languages only people of the "fantasy world" can understand & we can relax & leave the real world for a while to go to enter into a fantasy for a while. Maybe fall in love!
